Tenchu 2 Birth of The Stealth Assasins Merupakan Prequel dari Game Tenchu Stealth Assasins. 
Pada Tenchu 2 menceritakan kehidupan remaja Rikimaru dan Ayame ketika berada di Dojo 
Master Shiunsai bersama senior Azuma Ninja yaitu Tatsumaru.. 
Disinipun diceritakan bagaimana Rikimaru mendapatkan Luka di matanya 
dan bagaimana master mereka terbunuh . 
Siapa sangka.Ternyata yang membunuh Master Shiunsai adalah Senior Azuma Ninja 
 yaitu Tatsumaru yang hilang ingatan dan malah bergabung ke klan Musuh “The Burning Dawn”.

Yang Menarik dari Tenchu 2 ini adalah Gameplay yang lebih realistik dan Mission Editor. 
Pada Mission Editor Pemain bisa membuat misinya sendiri sesuka hati. keren ga tuh ??
